For over 25 years, Andrew has advised companies of all sizes and types in a wide array of business matters. Whether guiding new businesses through early-stage challenges or counseling multinational companies on billion-dollar ventures, Andrew is a bold advocate for his clients and team members.
Andrew serves as general counsel for family offices and investment groups for whom he negotiates domestic and foreign private equity, real estate, and alternative investments. These investments have exceeded in the aggregate over $750 million. Andrew often serves as general counsel to companies within the investment portfolio.
Andrew performs the role of chief legal officer and general counsel for companies in the hospitality, technology, healthcare, and financial services industries. He has negotiated relationships with leading hotel groups, supermarkets, pharmacies, and technology companies, which have accounted for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue. Andrew manages and supervises employment, intellectual property, privacy, regulatory, and litigation matters for his clients.
Andrew possesses extensive experience representing buyers, sellers, and management in mergers, buyouts, joint ventures, and other business transactions and investments. He has managed these transactions both as lead outside counsel and as internal general counsel. So, Andrew has a keen understanding of every perspective in a corporate transaction.
Andrew counsels enterprises throughout their entire life cycle – from formation through growth and (hopefully) culminating in a successful sale. Andrew recognizes the financial, operational, and structural challenges that new enterprises encounter. Andrew often guides early-stage and emerging companies in relationships with financial or business partners.
Andrew graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he earned Order of the Coif honors and served as editor of The Tax Law Review. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with high honors from the University of Florida. Andrew is a member of the State of New York and the State of Florida bars. Andrew recorded the highest score on the Florida Bar Exam in his judicial district.
Earlier in his career, Andrew practiced at preeminent national law firms in New York City and South Florida.
